I recently saw a comment that asked “Is the hype too much compared to 30 years ago?”
Absolutely not. Had Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, and RSS feeds existed 30 years ago, the coverage for the Royal Wedding of Princess Diana would have had just as much, if not more, media hype as that of today’s Royal Wedding.
We should take advantage of the technology innovation among us, and the privilege we have to watch, listen, and learn as monumental events take place in other countries and cultures other than our own.
Congratulations to Prince William and Princess Kate!
