Our Team

Janel Laravie is the co-founder of Chacka Marketing, a search engine marketing services and consulting firm in Tampa, FL. Prior to forming Chacka, Janel was the Vice President of Search Marketing and Operations at a full service agency.  Janel is a frequent speaker at search engine marketing events.  She has played an integral role in the development of the search engine marketing industry and spearheaded search for many large and small brands throughout her career.

Jerret Laravie is a co-founder of Chacka Marketing.  With 10 years of management experience, Jerret’s specialties are team building, project management and business process orientation.  Before Chacka, Jerret oversaw production design at Image in Technology, a St. Petersburg, FL based wholesale distributor.   Jerret is an expert at playing Devil’s Advocate, which teaches the team to challenge gut reactions and to form well-rounded, substantiated conclusions.  As co-founder of Chacka, Jerret is responsible for administrative and financial activities.  Jerret’s business savvy and early days as a lemonade stand magnate are essential factors to Chacka’s quick success.

Casey Wilson received her B.A. in Journalism in 2003 with High Honors from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL.  Soon after graduating, she began working as a Marketing Specialist in the student loan industry. Following this role, Casey moved to a full-service agency and facilitated the onboarding process of all new search accounts. Casey earned her M.A. in Management and Leadership from Webster University in December, 2009.  Casey joined Chacka Marketing in April 2010 and is directly responsible for SEM for some of the industry’s largest online retailers.

David Grow received his B.A. in History and Political Science from SUNY Cortland in 2005 and his J.D. from Western New England University in 2009.  Prior to joining Chacka Marketing, David handled electronic claims at Bank of America. David joined Chacka Marketing in December 2010 and works on key accounts.  He is also responsible for trivia team assembling and is the Floor Warden in our office building (in the event of any emergency).

Aubree Rose received her B.S. in Business Management from the University of South Florida in 2011.  Aubree started working at Chacka as an intern prior to completing her degree.  We quickly made her a full-time team member as soon as she finished college!  Additionally, Aubree takes pride in brewing coffee for the Chacka team each morning.

Brittany Morris is working towards a B.S. in Marine Biology at Florida Gulf Coast University.  She brings the fresh perspective of the college age demographic to the Chacka team and plays an integral role in our Social Media strategy.
