Mobile reigns as King for Facebook

On the Facebook second quarter 2019 conference call, the company reported that mobile ad revenue represented 94% of its advertising revenue during Q2. This was up a whopping 91% during Q2 2018!

Despite the record-breaking $5B FTC fine that was imposed on the company last week, the company still reported 28% year-over-year Q2 growth.

CEO & Founder, Mark Zuckerberg said, “We are investing in building stronger privacy protections for everyone and on delivering new experiences for the people who use our services.”

“Mobile-first video accounted for more than 50% of video revenue,” said COO, Sheryl Sanberg.
