Instagram will be rolling out ads within the Explore Feed.
Instagram states that over 50% of accounts on the platform use Explore each month. This makes it prime real estate to get your photos and videos in front of users in the discovery phase who are not familiar or even seeking out your brand.
The ad units work when users browse the explore feed, click on an image and start seeing ads in their main feed (see screenshots below).
Over the coming months, this ad unit can be activated by an opt-in feature.
